Just in time for the dog daze of summer! This is a brand new recipe, and first for this style at SRB. We use a traditional Bavarian yeast strain, German malted wheat, and barley, and a Pacific Northwest hop varietals with German roots. The brewers intend a Hefeweizen with the characteristics you would find if you ordered one at the local brewery, after a days hike in the Bavarian Alps.
Fermented cool, to allow the banana like flavors and aromas to slightly rise above the natural clove qualities. Attractively hazy, from the heavy use of wheat, and traditional yeast strain, and golden in color, this beer is crisp, complex, and refreshing! Prost!!
